Guard Dog Body Armor’s IV-SIDEPLATE is a 2-pack Level 4 rated 6x8 pair of side plates. Designed to be inserted in the cummerbund on side plate capable plate carriers, it increases the overall protected surface area of a user by extending that under their arms. Using a mixture of tiled Ceramic and UHMWPE, they are curved slightly to fit comfortably against a user’s sides. These have been tested to exceed NIJ 0101.06 Level 4 standards, are made with a single curl, and feature a waterproof cover.
